“My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”John 5:17

“The Son can do nothing by himself, but only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.” John 5:19

The Father is always at work—in your life, in your circumstances, and in the world around you. If you learn to recognize what he’s doing, you will also discover what he’s calling you to do.

This focused attention toward the work of Christ is how your life becomes less busy but more purposeful. As you pay attention to the Lord’s work, your efforts will align with his, and you’ll begin to experience the fullness Jesus promised.

Let this ongoing question shape your daily life:

“Lord, what are you doing—and how can I join you?”
